ELECTRICITY GENERATION
Electricity generation-
process of generate electricity from primary energy source. That is called electricity genration.
Electricity is generated in many ways. Some of them like this
- Hydro power plant
- Thermal power plant
- Wind power plant
- Solor power plant
- Nuclear power plant
- Tidal power plant
- Disel power plant
Hydro power plant-
Hydro power plant
Water is stored by making big dams on the river. Where underground turbine is connected. And the genrator is connected to the turbine. The rotor is connected to a large fan of the turbine. The turbine rotates when water is relesed from the pressure frm the dam. Roter rotates from turbine. Causing the generator to rotate and genrate electricity. Power that the genrator gets is step up and transmitted by the transmiision line.

Power is generated throught coal and water in thrmal power plants. There is a furnace and a boiler. Furnace is inside the boiler. Coal is burnt in a boiler. Some tubes and pipes are connect in the boiler. Water flow is done in the pipeline. As the heat exceeds, the water is heated to 500c. causing water to steam and it is given on that turbine while moving the steam. Steam pressurized keeps the turbine moving. causing the genrator rotet and produed electricity. The steam that is produced is then frozen and returned to the boiler.

Big fan fond on the mountains There is more wind on the mountains, causing the fan rotate. There are connected generator. and roter moves generator.which porduce electricity.
Solar power plant-

In solar power plant the rays of the sun are observed. Those connected to the solar panel. it is equipped with photovoltaic cells. they convert heat energy to electric energy. In this dc power . in this dc to ac convert connected with inverter. if its on grid than sand to grid and if its off than storage in battry.
Nuclear power plant-

It is risky. In this, nuclear fission of uranium and potassium is done. Whereby heat dissipates from water is heated. This makes steam and steam is sand to the turbine due to which the turbine rotates and the genrator rotates. and electricity generates. The fear of leakage in the nuclear power plant remains low use in india.
Tidal power plant-

power is genrated by the sea. This Power plant is installed on the shore of the sea. The flow of water due to the tide ebb is given to the turbine , which causes the turbine to rotate. then generator will rotate and produce electricity.
Diesel power plant-

The diesel is powered by a generator , producing electricity. This is done when the light in the industry go off. now a day it use in small shops.
